1. The information Chef Star requires is for the purpose of placing candidates in casual positions and are as follows:
   - Bank details and tax file number for the purpose of payments to casual workers.
   - Some form of identification to comply with the Department of Immigration.
   - Information of any offences relating to children or minors.
   - Any injuries, illness or disabilities.
2. For Permanent Positions Chef Star does not require information relating to TFN's or bank details.
3. Chef Star will collect the information in the following ways.
   - E-mail application form.
   - Resumes and CV's by fax or post.
   - Or in person.
4. All candidates are required to complete the appropriate application form
   - We will store information collected, in our casual and or permanent candidate database.
   - The application form, photocopies of visas, resumes and associated paperwork is in security storage for a period of 7 years
5. Within Chef Star, access to the personal information it holds and the staff who actually need to have access to the information are:
   - Booking Co-ordinator
   - Payroll Manager
   - Manager of the Recruitment Departments.
6. We undertake every precaution to protect the personal information we hold from unauthorised access. Information from you is collected:
   - At the time of registration, all the information required by Chef Star is entered by you on an Chef Star application form.
   - And when you fax, post or email your resume
7. To assist with placing you in permanent positions and or casual assignments, Chef Star may disclose the following information.
   - Area you live in.
   - Your skills
   - Qualifications and certificates acquired.
   - In the case of a permanent position a resume will be required by the client
8. Chef Star may have to give access to your information outside the organisation.
   Information collected by Chef Star has to be available to certain government and legal bodies. The request for any information is to be in writing or by special appointment from those organisations
9. It is imperative for Chef Star to have the most current and up to date information, therefore it is in your interest to inform Chef Star of any changes.
